Sketchbook Zine vol. 1

In February 2024, after years of drawing on Procreate, I bought myself a sketchbook, some pastels and colored pencils, and instantly fell back in love with traditional mediums. Before I started to draw digitally, I used to use mainly fountain pens and colored pencils, but this time, I really wanted to experiment with new mediums, discover new techniques, have fun and just play around without thinking about the end result. This is what you will find in this zine! A tiny selection of silly & mismatched doodles, swatches and illustrations that I drew in my various sketchbooks from Feb. 2024 to Feb. 2025. Many were inspired by online art challenges, videos, courses and books by my favourite artists, which you will find referenced on the last page.

This zine was created, illustrated, designed, printed and assembled by me in my little studio. I am not posting photos of all the pages to avoid spoilers. :)
